Jamie is straight-talking and provides me and my business with everything I require. He asks me about elements of the business throughout the year and keeps me on track with not only my accounts but also business decisions.
One Two One has so many contacts in the business support world and they are always there for me to ask questions about ideal partners. More to the point, I know my accounts are all in hand and I believe that I pay only what is owed to HMRC.
One Two One helps raise funds for Parkinson’s UK in memory of Ray Kennedy
15 November 2022·Company Updates
In June 2022, we attended a fundraising event held in our village at Seaton Terrace Social Club. The event was to celebrate the life of Ray Kennedy, who was born in Seaton Delaval and played football for Arsenal, Liverpool and England during the 70s and early 80s, seeing out his career playing for the local football club, Ashington. Ray passed away last year after a 37-year battle with Parkinson’s disease.
The charity event was the result of a joint effort between Seaton Valley Council, Ray Kennedy’s family, Seaton Terrace Club, New Hartley Club and New Hartley Juniors FC. In 1967, Ray had played as an amateur for New Hartley Juniors, where he was spotted by Arsenal and won an apprentice contract.
The charity event in June featured live music, a surprise flash mob dance from the talented pupils at Studio K Dance, and a charity auction that included VIP tickets. Over £10,000 was raised on the night and all proceeds were donated to Parkinson’s UK in Ray’s memory.
One Two One successfully bid on two Director’s Box Tickets for the Premier League match, Liverpool vs Newcastle on the 31st of August. It was a joy to support the cause and celebrate the life of Northumberland’s most decorated footballer.
